PreK 4 Takes Action

Mrs. Madden's class had a problem! Read on to find out what their problem was and what they did to solve it!

Taking action is one of the things that IB students are encouraged to do to make a difference in their world. Before we can take action, we must pay attention to what is happening in our community. Mrs. Madden's PreK 4 classroom noticed that they had a problem in their classroom. They had a lot of sun butter and sunflower seeds left over from their lunch. They knew they couldn't eat all the sun butter and sunflower seeds so they brainstormed some ideas and decided to make some bird feeders using the sun butter and sunflower seeds. The students each created their own bird feeder and then hung them on the trees for the birds to enjoy. Way to go PreK 4!
