![]() King/Robinson Magnet School is an IB World School. This means that our school community is committed to promoting international understanding through education. The aim of the IB program is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet help create a better and more peaceful world. At the heart of the IB philosophy, is the belief that the values and the attitudes of the school community are significant in shaping the future of the school. These values and beliefs are embedded in The IB Learner Profile. It expresses a holistic vision of education that underpins the IB Programs and puts the student at the center of everything we do. IB students are curious, fully engaged citizens, who both embrace their own culture and are open and responsive to other cultures and views and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
